I made this: kitty scratch pad!

    1. Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚ Though the idea came entirely from the tutorial. I do think the robot wrapping paper was a pretty creative choice though. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m so glad the cat seemed to like it– I’ve never cut so much cardboard in all my life. Or any cardboard really. I had “catnip spray” on hand to sweeten the deal if they didn’t use it, but so far so good!

    1. The nice thing is that you can make it as big as you want! I don’t know if your four cats cuddle in groups, but none of the scratchers I found were really made for two cats– especially since my little guy (in the picture) is so big. This one, they can sit on together between scratching… which is awesome. ๐Ÿ™‚ Let me know if you give it a shot!

    1. Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚ I didn’t use cloth to wrap the outside like the tutorial said, just grabbed some robot wrapping paper to finish it up, so it could look BETTER… but I’m pretty happy with it. ๐Ÿ™‚ Let me know if you try it and how it goes!

  1. What a a great idea, I have two cats who would love this!!! Going to give it a try this afternoon! Gordo and Murphy thank you in advance. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Surprisingly– yes! My older girl cat even scratches at it, and she’s very particular. The younger one in the picture is pretty much game for anything, so he uses it to scratch, to sleep, and to propel himself across the room. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. That’s half the battle with any cat thing, really– getting them to like it. ๐Ÿ™‚ But they took to this right away– maybe because they sat on the cardboard and “helped” with the process all the way through?
