Do you have time for a quick compliment?

Yes, you.

I just wanted to say that you’re looking really good today.   Maybe your clothing isn’t “in season”, or isn’t “your season”, or whatever those lovely ladies at the mall say– but I wouldn’t know either way.  All I know is that you look exactly like you.

Also, someone has probably already told you, but I’m pretty sure you’re having the best smile day, ever– it’s infectious!

Isn’t it great? To be literate? To have internet-access?

To be part of this big Presser family?

I’m sick today, and I’ve spent the bulk of the day reading your posts.  Which I do every day, admittedly.  Seriously– if I follow you, I read everything you post.   Many times– I love your posts. I love them so much that I cry, or laugh till my stomach hurts, or buy a book based on something you mentioned.  And, true confessions time– despite all that love, sometimes I don’t even comment or like.

Don’t get mad, see how sick I am? *cough cough*

Here’s just 5 random examples of some of our Presser family members who posted great things recently that I just didn’t reply to, for whatever reason:

Anyway, to summarize:

  1. I am reading and loving your posts
  2. I’m sorry for not always showing that love
  3. I’m so glad we crossed paths
  4. I’m sick (poor me)
  5. You’re amazing!

Much love to you!
Rarasaur

Love this post, Rara. Hope you feel better. Lots of liquids and keep exercising, even if it is just tapping on your food. haha.

      1. Kozo – Did it work, did I get off the hook? I hope so because I just realized yesterday that I didn’t “like” that post I liked to, let alone comment. Yikes! Sorry. I read it to two people, though, so that’s something. 🙂 A specific compliment for you: You are always able to see the inspiration in any situation and your imagination is magnificently tuned!

  2. I can relate to this post on so many levels! First of all, I’m sick too. (Get well soon!)

Second, I love the thing about the “free compliments.” I am ALWAYS giving compliments. I see the world as such a beautiful place and recognize the beauty in all my loved ones. One time a friend told me, “Stop complimenting everyone, it doesn’t make me feel special when you compliment me.” LOL! 🙂

Third, I feel the same as you about my fellow bloggers. Thanks for expressing what I always had inside me 🙂

    1. Oh no, I hope you got better! Maybe my digital cough gave you what I had? If so, it soon will pass. 🙂 Thank you for your thoughtful compliment, which reminds me… A specific compliment for you: You see everything as so beautiful and amazing that when you’re around, it’s hard not to see things that way, too. 🙂

    1. Haha, it’s true… after a certain age, you don’t get a lot of “Nice Shoes” compliments. 🙂 A specific compliment for you: You’re so tough! Like a super graceful, well-spoken action hero with a million different missions. 🙂 That’s not a compliment I could give anyone else because (a) they don’t really qualify and (b) I’m not sure they’d see my weirdo sense of humor as complimentary.. all of which makes me like you twice as much.
