do me a favor?

smilePost something kind today, somewhere.
Tweet something loving.
Instagram something happy.
Facebook something positive.

Share a quote, or a picture, or a smile, or a peaceful thought.

Write something silly, or heart-warming, or calm.

Make the internet a little softer today, a little stronger, a little safer,
a little brighter.

Be a light.

Then post a link to it here, because I want to follow your radiantly loving spark.

For my Ask Me Anything project, the ever-thoughtful BroJo asked if there was anything I needed that could be done for me.Β  This is my answer.

  1. This should be good for a laugh:

Tank decided to take a bath with me during our stormy weather today.

Also, I’m going to pick up sanitary products and toiletries now and taking them to a benefit tonight that friends are organizing for the refugee families that have made their way to New Orleans. There are people donating furniture, cookery, and all sorts of amazing things. Our friends, and our friends’ friends, have big hearts. There will always be helpers. ❀

    1. I lose track of that measurement, too… but the lucky thing about reality is, it’s what we make of it. So if you link me to something and tell me it’s happy… I’ll believe you. πŸ˜€

It’s a Wordless Wednesday post…the story…while on this “funeral trip” my daughter and I are trying to do fun things with the little ones (2 and 5), trying to keep things normal. We took them to a place my own three loved to go day after day, Descanso Gardens in La Canada. The little one was on two speeds…either running or sitting down in protest. The second was easier to catch than the first!

  3. Well, I don’t have a link, but I wished a little girl a happy birthday, and congratulated her older brother for the epic castle cake he made for her. They’re the children of a Facebook friend. πŸ™‚

    1. That’s wonderful! Little girls should have happy happy birthdays and castle cakes and epic big brothers. πŸ˜€ And they should definitely have friends to celebrate with them from the other side of computer screens. πŸ˜€

  4. Mea culpa, Rara. I haven’t been able to find a spark of “happy” anywhere in me since Friday. Just anger and an immense sadness. The closest I have got to positive is the immense pride to live in this beautiful, free country called France, where everyday people stepped up and were unsung heroes on Friday night to save lives. Hugs.
