You are loved.  You are love.  You are peace.

EJ’s self-started-B4Peace post this past month and Kozo’s free online healing course have inspired me to restart the Bloggers 4 Peace challenges.

The might of this community has inspired positive change in me, so I know we can inspire great change outwards.  You are loved, and loving, and I know we can spread that love.

… love and peace are the same thing, right?

Daily Post photo challenge: One Love. [The Daily Post weekly photo challenges are fun, if you’re looking for prompts. I give an awkward shout out to them, and a couple other blogs, in my worst audio recording yet. You can find that in my sidebar if you want to hear how fast I really speak. I also read my poem Flushed, just in case you wanted to hear it read.]

Taking my cues from EJ, I’m going to propose my own theme for this month.   If you’d like to participate, just tag your monthly peace post #B4Peace.   Anything peace related counts.  For March, in support of Makala Kozo, my post will be about healing.   If you’d like to participate with my arbitrarily-selected theme, go for it.    Write a prayer for healing.  Share how peace and healing go together in your world.  Give tips.  Share a picture or song, or write a poem, about the space where healing and peace meet.  Tell a personal story. Write a new one.   Blog for peace.

P.S. That’s not a tattoo. That’s what happens when I’m left with colored pens.

Do you remember #PeaceCat? Did you participate in B4Peace? Are you tattooed for reals?

  1. If it is okay, I might do this one. I’m shy when it comes down to it….I like what happens when you meet a pen, in more ways than one :). I contemplate about a tat…yin/yang on the inner wrist. ❤

  2. I remember something to do with Bloggers for Peace. Or maybe not? I seem to remember people spending time online for Christmas, in a chat room of sorts, hosted by different bloggers. Was that this group of bloggers?

When I come visit you, we’ll get tattoos together. xo

  3. You’ve just given me a new use for Sharpies (since I’m too chicken to get a real tattoo, and even if I worked up the nerve, I bet I’d have trouble deciding on a design because there are so many good ones). I love this, blogging for peace. ❤ And now I'm off to explore a bit since I am new here. Nice to meet you. 🙂

  4. I did participate in Bloggers for Peace. It seems like so long ago. Until about 4 weeks ago I was doing a weekly post called Peace Music on Monday and using the Bloggers for Peace logo, but I quit when I got sick and just haven’t started it back up. So glad you are doing this!

  5. I like this B4Peace idea. I remember a little of it from back in the day. I don’t think I really participated though.. Hm.

I have tatts. 3 to be exact: Upper back, lower back and inner right wrist. Upper is my alter ego, a zombie chick with green pigtails carrying an axe behind her back. Lower is tribal heart. Wrist is hollowed sun. Each has a story. Maybe one day I will share. 🙂

  6. Did a blog on a tattoo parlor in Fort Brag last fall. It was a museum of sorts. Madam Chinchilla, a 68 year old woman beautifully tatted from head to toe, spent an hour with me, showing me the museum. She seems like a wonderfully peaceful, together human. –Curt
