because i’ve had enough

Because I’ve had enough food, I am able to go hungry, for small bursts at a time. Because I’ve had enough kindness, I am able to give it when I am completely out of reasons.

Because I’ve had enough, I know there is never enough.

We are ever-refilling,
ever-refillable.

Because I’ve had enough, I know there is always enough.

We are always full.

  1. We aren’t always satisfied, or grateful for what we have. But when you have gone without (especially freedom) enough, satisfied and grateful take on new meanings ❤

  2. So I saw that title and all I could think of was Bill Cosby and his skit where he yells “I have had enough!” at the kids, Which is a legendary phrase in our household usually used to inject humor into frustrating kid situations. Then I had to read what you wrote like three times to get into your frame of mind because from where I started, hearing your first line in my head like a yelling Bill Cosby I was just confused! 😀 Perspective, it matters!
